Trivial Pursuit - White Borders
What Minor League team in the White Border era had 6 players in the same year depicted on cards in the T206 set?
Name the team, the year and the players. The first correct answer wins absolutely nothing. |
Rochester
Barger Batch Butler Chappelle Ganzel Maloney |

You did not specify a year, but I assume you are referring to the 1909 Rochester Bronchos. You are correct that there were 6, but you are incorrect because there were 7. You omitted Pattee. Harry was a regular on the 1909 Bronchos. In fact he played in 155 games, four more than the team played (90-61).:eek::D There may be multiple answers with exactly 6, but Rochester is not one of them. Still looking for one with 6. Hint: Try the swamp |
Good question and for me good learning in Baseball History
I was clueless |
You may my answer in the swamp.

Post #6 is a valid answer
Not sure if Kansas City qualifies as a swamp though. See hint Post #5 Post #7 is under review from the booth |

Michael, the thorough booth review agrees with your findings, but there were multiple fouls on the play. Wagner and Cobb were never teammates, etc. Need I go further. The answer is in the swamp. |
