FT: Nolan Freakin' Ryan, 1968 to 1974 PSA/SGC
4 Attachment(s)
Over the years, I've accumulated (read as overpaid for) a bunch of different graded examples of some of Nolan Ryan's most important cards, from his 1968 Rookie on up to the intensity of his fireballing '74, and would consider trading some of them for the right big hit cards.
There is a list of stuff I am generally interested in posted below. If you have any questions or are interested in talking, give me a shout. **I need to hold onto at least one of the 'best' of each grouping for my PC.** 1968 Topps #177 Nolan Ryan RC... Attachment 619983 1974 Topps #20 Nolan Ryan... https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...485052f5_b.jpg Note: I haven't put a specific dollar trade value on any of these cards. It's really just a case of determining (assuming I'm interested in the cards being offered) whether or not I'd be doing well enough on my end in accepting a trade proposal. I am particularly interested in these: • HOF'ers in nice shape from the 50's through early 70's (preferably graded, but open to cards in their natural state) • Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams, Roberto Clemente, Babe Ruth and Nolan Ryan cards • 1971 Topps Greatest Moments • Tough to find errors and variations from the 50's through the early 70's • 1964 Topps Stand-Ups HOFers (need virtually any in nice shape) • 1961-67 Topps high numbers and SP's • 1963 Fleer BB stars and HOF'ers in nice shape • 1967 Laughlin World Series (with address on back) in high grade • Major HOFer rookie cards • 1954 Bowman BB stars and HOF'ers in nice shape • 1954 Red Heart BB (need virtually any in nice shape) • And who knows what else? |
possible trade
I've tried sending emails and pms without luck. Please see if you can email or pm me (switcher7). Thanks.

Was forced to abandon this thread soon after starting it, so now it's time to bring the heat with a bump...

Drooling…….awesome cards….:)
|
Blazing bump right down the middle...

Darren,
Your post states that you are looking to trade. However, are you interested in actually selling any of these cards? Thanks. |

Sorry, but no. I mean, if someone made me an offer that was way beyond the pale good for me, then I would have to do it...but I really don't see that happening. :) --elm |

(It says "Bump," but it's going so frickin' fast you missed it.) |
Bumpin' it off Robin Ventura's head...

Bump.
I also have a bunch of ungraded Ryan cards from (probably?) 1970 to 1976, many in the mid-grade range, available for trade. Would have to get them onto the scanner. |
Bump...

Called bump on the inside corner...

I had forgotten about this thread, but today I saw someone listing a 1974 Topps #20 Nolan Ryan PSA 9 OC for $1,090.00, so now seems like maybe a good time to give it a BUMP...
|
Bump.
Have a couple more Ryan Express cards added here, so the pics have been updated. |
Fruitless bump (with a couple of cards added/switched in)...
|
Never let a good bump go to waste...
|
Bump...a real nice 1969 Topps #533 Nolan Ryan SGC 6 has been added to the mix.
Don't take this as snide, but if you're going to reach out, please note what is clearly posted in the OP: **I need to hold onto at least one of the 'best' of each grouping for my PC.** So, it is possible that I may be willing to trade either of the big-money PSA 8 Ryans (1969 or 1970), BUT would need something spectacular in return to possibly say yes to that kind of deal. Just wanted to clarify. |

I have a 1974 Nolan Ryan Deckle Edge SGC 5 I'm looking to trade. This is the white back variation. Card # 41
|
Bump.
Added his 1973 Topps #220 card to the pile... |
I would bump this, but what's the point?
|
Bump it like it's cold...
