1950's Topps Card Back Colors - Best Source

I am curious what the best source is to find out all the different card back (i.e. gray, white etc) colors for each year of the 1950's Topps.
I've read a lot of posts here but looking for the best source.
Also, did this continue into the 60's ? If so, same question..,.
thanks,
Dan

The blatant stock differences, whether people want to acknowledge them or not, continue until the 1970 set.

52, 54, 55, 56 have stock differences in at least some of the series.

Most of the 60’s issues do as well.

They aren’t really compiled into one source because many of them (60’s especially) are unpopular and remain almost universally not recognized.

The same applies to Bowman.

Agree there is likely not a consensus list. 52, 54, 56, 59 and 60 and 68 ( MB) had recognition in the SCD Standard Catalog. Not a graded collector but would guess those also get PSA recognition. Also agree other differences exist in 50s and 60s sets

Another set seems to be the 1966 6th series or the next to last sheet. Not sure if both the A&B slit were affected or not.Not sure if others have commented on this set in the past but would like more info .

The 6th series is most obvious, but other series in 1966 have a muddier cream and a clearer cream that’s close to white. Fairly common series 1, it continues after that but with the whiter stock becoming increasingly difficult. I don’t believe there are two stocks for series 7.

6th series has cream vs. white that is apparent immediately from even a distance.

1969 and 1970 have two different sticks too.
