Diamond Stars lot of 17 raw including 3 HOFs
 

Howdy folks,
From my set collection is this nice lot of 17 different Diamond Stars including HOFs Bottomley, Jackson and Ferrell. I don't deal much in raw cards but as you can see from the scans linked below, this lot presents in excellent condition. The cards are clean with sharp corners but most would grade Good due to creasing, wrinkles or other defects (e.g. the Walker has a print stamp on the back, the Martin has a small abrasion on the upper border). A few are solidly VG and as luck would have it, the HOFs are maybe even nicer than that: all three are in VG-EX territory with no creases or wrinkles that I can see, although the Jackson would have a MK qualifier due to some small numbers written in ink on the reverse.

A great start for the aspiring Diamond Stars set builder! $400 + $15 USPS priority shipping.

Those are so pretty! I'm not a card guy, but if I was to become one, I think I'd start with this set.

This set is unfairly overshadowed by the Goudeys of the era with their Ruths and Gehrigs, but this is indeed one of the most attractive issues of all time. Although a bit later, it is very Art Deco with all the geometric lines and shapes in the backgrounds. Nice collectible size and a ton of HOFs to boot.

And a lucky Net54 member is now the new owner of this lot and a near complete graded set!
