No problem Rob. I love the enthusiasm and am glad to vouch for you as another addicted collector. We need more of them. Good luck in the hunt!

Wow that is a whale of a card--sweet...send photos if you secure it.

lol I read the want, saw the post count, said "haha yeah right".

Then I noticed the user name, said "OH....ooooohhh"

Good luck to you Rob!

Hope you find one, and without the tilt. Good luck on the Leaf Paige, too. I think there are 5 of them in 8, but I’ve never seen one.

Welcome to the site, Rob.

A 9 Jackie would look sweet beside your 9 Mickey. That would be Dope! :D

@irv - Thank you so much! Honored to be here!
I think so as well! 9 311 and 9 312 would is the goal. :-)

@scmavl - Thank you so much!

@here2havefun - Thank you so much! Nice to e-meet you!

@irinsrman - Will do!

@Leon - I appreciate you!

Rob, welcome! And good luck!

Jarrod, there is a slight defect to the artwork of the 52 Jackie, not a tilt. If you look at the top black border, it was drawn with a slight angle down towards the left. You can see it's not parallel with the bottom border. Thus the illusion of a tilt. But not a tilt.

This shows it pretty well I think.

Thanks, Peter. The only *nice* copy of the card I had (a PSA 5) was so OC, you couldn't even tell. My PSA 1 is so beat that the top border spacing is the least of my worries. :)

Wanaselja 09-01-2021 12:38 PM

I've never noticed that. Thanks for sharing guys.

And here's mine without the slab and possibly a little clearer picture?

How did mine get an 8?

Just kidding and welcome to the boards

R0bG0ugh 09-01-2021 02:45 PM

That's a beautiful 8.

..Methinks the autograph is graded the "8".;....the card appears to be the recipient of the "A"....just a hunch...

..

psa pop has 11 9s

Actually chances are there as 11 pop 313 Robinson 9s are slabbed.
Only 6 9s on Mantle were available and he made it happen. So there is a reasonable chance.

becollie 09-01-2021 09:06 PM

I personally would be happy with a well centered PSA 4-6... can someone please help :-)

I suspect you have already seen it, but there is a beautiful 9 on the Heritage site ... says the owner is taking offers but who knows. May be worth looking into.

Good luck.

Brian
