Longtime autograph dealer and promoter, Rich Altman, has passed away. One of the old guard, Rich was a true "hobby presence," a fixture at every show of any consequence for decades and promoter of many autograph shows and special appearances himself. RIP, Rich, and condolences to his family.

Ugh, sorry to hear. I was just thinking about Rich this morning, as he was promoting an upcoming Boston-area show. That's horrible news.

Man, he was a fixture at shows from the early 2000's through last month! Lots of memories of talking with him and checking out his stuff over the last twenty years. Sad to hear and I wish nothing but the best for his family.
