1932 Babe Ruth Astra back- real or fake?
 

Hi all,

I recently got the opportunity to purchase a Babe Ruth astra back in good condition. The card looks great, almost too good to be from 1932, so wanted to get some advice on whether anything looks off to you guys. I know the sanella backs are more common than astra so excited about the card. Just hoping it's not a reprint or counterfeit. Thanks!

ive never seen fakes of these...astra back is rare for the issue? the ultimate test is to feel it...these are super thin...paper like.

Black/UV Light it

Astra is rare. Took me years to get a Schmeling for my boxing type card collection. That one should go for a multiple of the normal Ruth card.

As Pete said, I've never seen reprints or fakes of these. I would assume it's genuine. These are regularly found in high grade, so that's not a concern. I see nothing off.
