King Kelly Original?
 

Spotted these green-colored pieces in a vintage card auction on EBay. One of them depicts the famous 19th Century baseball icon Mike “King” Kelly. They appear to be part of a card game. Anyone out there have an idea of their origin and/or value? Thanks

I’m guessing modern fantasy cards artificially aged…. but it’s only one mans opinion. Would need to see more to have a more certain conclusion.

Thanks NiceDocter...was wondering the same. As a point of reference, they are found in a lot of authentic vintage cards from ‘50s and 60’s.

Just curious if anyone out there has an image of what the undeniably original cards look like. Haven’t found anything during a pretty extensive search of the web.

I am in with the fantasy card thought also, too much of a similarity to 1983 Topps to not be the subject of an unimaginative mind.

The two black and white cards just pictured above look suspect too. I know you are not providing more because you believe you found a needle in a haystack, but I would steer clear.

Justin the suspicion is not unfounded, but that’s all the picture available for the cards in question...I don’t need anyone’s help with the rest of the lot. Thanks
