Do I sell these as are, or do I take them out of the RCR case and sell as raw
First off, I know I won't be getting anywhere near graded prices for these. I'm planning on selling/trading them at values of their numbered condition (NM, Ex-Mt, Ex, etc). But I was at a small show today, and these guys were there. I figured I'd give things a shot and see what they might grade if I were to send them off.
Now I'm ready to sell/trade them. Do I take them out of the holders to sell/trade them? Basically sell/trade them as raw and in a toploader? Or do I sell/trade them in these holders? Again, I'll be selling them at raw comps, just need to know best way to sell/trade them. Thanks. Here's the cards: https://i.imgur.com/T4qIRLP.jpg?2 https://i.imgur.com/clJASpa.jpg?1 |
I'd sell them raw. Those grades, in my opinion, do not inspire an overabundance of confidence. How is that Drysdale a 5? And how is that Aaron a 6? So that's my opinion. Nice cards, by the way.

To be honest, I thought Aaron would be a 4. Thought Killebrew would be a 5. Wasn't sure on Drysdale. Good centering, but rough corners. Thought maybe a 4. Knew Maris was decent. Thought maybe a 6 on it though. So I was happy until I learned these grades/guys don't mean squat and basically charged me $10/card to tell me something I already and that's the condition of the card. Now I'm pissed. That's $40 I could've spent on another 58T or 2 for my set.

Those labels add $0.00 in value because anyone seeing them will think "why were these not good enough to send to a real TPG?" Get them out and sell raw with big high res scans.

100% sell them raw. Good looking cards.
