I freely admit to hating all this modern manufactured scarcity basketball stuff that seems to be so attractive to so many and is obviously driving certain AHs' success. :eek:

I’m actually glad modern stuff is the strongest cash magnet. It has kept the prices comparatively reasonable for the material I collect.

I think the base rookie cards are fine myself, and I really like the Heritage ones, I just can't see paying a million dollars for a card of a third year player like Doncic but people do, or so it is reported. They all may be 1 of 1 but when there are 1000 1 of 1s what does it mean?

It means they're rare, unique, and special...just like all the other modern cards.
