1936 Goudey Black and White Variations - Need Help!
 

Hello! I am collecting the Hank Greenberg back variations....so far know of 7

1-foul tip/strike
2-strike/wild pitch
3-ball/out
4-foul/ball
5-out/error
6-foul/double
7-hit by pitched ball/out

How many possible back variations are known? does every player have the maximum amount or does it vary by player? thanks...Michael.

I spent a few years compiling all the front-back combos for this set and putting them into an Excel spreadsheet. If you want a copy, PM me with your email.
In summary, there are 25 different fronts, 25 different backs and 176 different combos. Most players have 7 different backs. Gomez and Klein each have 8 different backs and Newsom has only 6.
