 T201 Miscuts - add value if HOF ? 2 Attachment(s) Opinions on the t201 miscuts Do they add a premium? Reduce? How about a Mathewson ? Value ? $500 ? $ 700? $300 ? |

I really like them, but I haven’t seen them increase value like they often do in T206. T201 is the worst cut issue from ALC, baseball or non-baseball. Horribly cut cards are pretty common in this set. I think it generally hurts the value in this particular issue. |

 Maybe. |

I like the miscut T201s but if I was looking to buy a Mathewson example I think I would like a better cut one and would pay more for it than one that is miscut like this one. . |

T201 Miscuts 1 Attachment(s) Hey Todd! I love the T201 Miscuts! I've completed a high grade Master set so now I am working on a set of T201 Miscuts, the more mishapen the better :-) that being said I have paid a premium for significant miscuts. I suspect that there are only a handful of T201 Miscut collectors so the premium would not be as high as it would for T206 miscut collectors. Love this SET! Regards, Cliff Attachment 462969 |

2 Attachment(s) Nice miscut, Cliff. This is a cool one I just picked up, probably overpaid but I like Joe Lake for weird sentimental reasons. I don't see a clue it isn't authentic, but I am always highly suspicious. I notice baseball 'printing errors' are far, far more common than printing errors in non-Baseball ALC sets. I love the terrible cutting on T201, and that's is one of the affordable to build baseball sets of the period. Innovative concept too, if only the players' faces looked a bit more like the players. |
