Mansfield Ma. Show moving to Dedham! June 20th
The long standing card show that was held in Mansfield for years will be moving to the Dedham Holiday Inn - just outside of the Boston area. First show is Father’s Day June 20th and the next show after is July 11th.
If any one is interested the link below has more info with info for the shows website. Thanks Jimmy https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.co...w-on-the-move/ |
Thanks Jimmy - I haven’t been to that show in years; how has it been as of late? I know it’s not a Shriners quality, but some vintage dealers at all?

Scott,
We did setup at the Boston show (Shriners) for about 15 years and it just got too expensive - so we switched to only the Mansfield (Dedham) shows about 5 years ago. I still go to all the larger shows in the Northeast to buy and sell and had tables for many of them, most shows are now gone. I would say this show is most likely the better of all the New England shows currently and Woburn is not bad either. There is always a good crowd with auto quests and some vintage, the selection for vintage use to be good. I would say the show has switch to a lot of modern stuff, but there are still dealers like myself that have a table of vintage. Always been a good way to move some extra stuff! I would like to get back into setting up at some of the bigger shows as well. Thanks Jimmy |
Thanks Jimmy - good to know. Sundays often are filled up with kids sports which is a main reason I haven't been to Mansfield in a while. But Dedham is much closer for me at least, so hopefully I'll see you at one of the upcoming shows....

I understand - my son is now 18 and have the freedom to get out more, he use to come to the shows in his uniform.
No more coaching baseball and going all over New England! Have fun! I still miss it! Jimmy |
I will be setup with an 8 ft table and lots of vintage cards, paper and some autos - highlights include 1979 Topps Hockey set with the "Great one" PSA 6
also have display of three signed baseballs Mantle, Williams and Joe D. Come see us just outside the Boston area at the first Dedham show Father's Day! http://www.cardboardpromotions.com/ Thank you and happy collecting! Jimmy |
I’ll be there…
Really looking forward to this one tomorrow… looking for vintage HOF as well as “complimentary” items to add to my “card cave” like empty vintage wax
Boxes, etc My needs are kind of all over the place - big time needs (Cobb, Young, Hornsby, Anson, King Kelly) and more moderate ones (Whitey Ford, Kiner, Mize, and others) I made a little extra $$ recently and I hope to spend it all tomorrow - ping me if you have anything you think I MUST see! See you there tomorrow. Jeff |
Great show
Always a great show and a good time. I appreciate the floor plan addition to the email blast. You can see which dealers will be there which is nice.

Attended the show yesterday. Arrived just before nine. Haste to sound negative, but the aisles were very narrow. I made it through one pass and stopped at a few tables. There were dealers with pre-war. Had planned to go back to a few tables but it really wasn't worth the struggle of trying to navigate the aisles, so I left. With a slightly bigger room, and wider aisles this would be a decent show. But as things were yesterday, I am not sure I would attend again.

The spacing was tight and tough to get around, really great crowd and was overall better then expected. Next show will be the 11th of July and Cranston will be the same weekend - with lots more room! Will be setup there on Friday and Sat and back to Dedham on Sunday
