Can't believe I never knew these existed!
 

I absolutely love old interviews with baseball players and just stumbled on this digital collection on the HOF site of lengthy interviews with some all time greats. Players like Cool Papa Bell, Edd Roush, Carl Hubbell, Stan Coveleski, Satchel Paige, Charlie Gehringer and Jane Benedum who was a friend of Cy Young.

Just fascinating and I can't believe I never knew of these. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

That would be way cool if they intend this to be a clearinghouse for all recorded oral histories relating to the game. If they threw out a wide enough net, who knows what they might come up with? Heck, I have some interviews on tape I conducted in researching my book they might be interested in. But I don't understand why they don't have Ritter's interviews there, especially seeing as how they own them!
