Opening Plastic Card Holder

Hi, I recently purchased a lot of cards and have two plastic holders that I honestly can't figure out how to open. I know that sounds dumb but I am not sure what to do. They don't have screws and they are not graded cards just plastic holders. They don't have any slots or open corners that I can use as a wedge. They don't seem to slide up down or sideways???? Does anybody have a suggestion????
I figure someone has used these themselves and can tell me what to do.

Thanks
Art

Hey, Art

I'd recommend posting a picture here to get the best answer on how to open them, someone will know what type of tool you need after seeing the holder.

Thanks. I will see if I can figure out how to add a photo. Art

on the side

...on the side there is a tiny indentation for your thumbnail to gently ''pop'' the top off ........be verrrrrrry careful ......perform this operation over a great large fluffy towel...

I know what you mean and I have seen plastic holders with a slot on the side and no problem but these two have no slot. It is really frustrating.

Still working on a photo.

Thanks for any suggestions

As far as pictures (and I think most people around here could use this advice as no one seems to know how to post pictures, everyone wants to send them to email), use a site like Imgur or something like that. Upload the picture, fix it (crop, cut, whatever) then paste the IMG code in the text of the post. It'll post pictures.

I'd like to see pictures to see if I maybe can help figure this one out as well.

Art,

I think they are held together by friction. have some of these old holders.
They fit pretty tightly and were hard to open as you have suggested.

Take 2 pieces of tape and tape each piece to the largest surface. Gently pull and it will pop open. Not a lot of fun.

Regards,

Yeah, me too, but I can't figure why so many members have such a hard time with the image posting process here. All you do is scroll down to the "manage attachments" button, click it, click browse files, select your file, click upload, click "close window," and there it is. Just make sure your image file type matches those listed as acceptable and the size is within the manageable range.

I think the answer is in the same post as the question.

So, Eric, do you think it is the image size that confounds people? I admit to only using computer files, so I guess if most posters are using a phone, is it that much more difficult to get the image size or file type to meet the requirements?

I know that I've gotten an error message when trying to attach some files. When I've resized them, everything worked fine.

I'm guessing the process of resizing files is something not everyone is familiar/comfortable with. Since there are so many different programs out there, it stands to reason some would be more user-friendly than others.

Edited to add: the file type can also be an issue. Some users don't know the difference between jpg, gif, and other types...much less how to change them from one format to another.
