1992 Derek Jeter Little sun
 

Hey guys, so I mainly collect Derek Jeter items. I search daily for anything at a good price point. Yesterday I came across a 1992 Little sun graded by psa. The seller listed the item at 499 and I countered at 400 and won. Upon another review, I noticed that the card was not the same. The seller canceled my order thankfully. But the original seller is well known on here, Chris W. So I hope he reads this. Once he sold it, another seller quickly sold it, however I believe that seller swapped it out. The Psa number is 02413211. Look at PSA’s picture of when both cards sold. Am I wrong here or on to something?

Not onto anything in my opinion. What evidence do you have that the cards were switched? If switched, they matched up the centering awfully well. The first sale pictures are not nearly good enough to say the cards were switched. At least that is my opinion. You could have always returned the card for a refund if the slab had been tampered with. You can easily tell if a slab was opened and resealed and Ebay almost always sides with the buyer in a dispute.

I just think the color is off. First, upper left green circle. Second, the purple circle around Jeter. Third, the color in Jeter. Fourth, the color in the grass. I know lighting can cause this, but it really doesn’t look close enough for that.

Cameras can't change centering but as you stated cameras easily can distort colors. I would bet the cards are the same. We'll see what others say.
