April hitting sets record
Just read article. For the month of April league batting avg. was .232 - lower than the record set in 1968 of .237, the year which caused the lowering of the pitchers mound. An independent lab said baseballs are slightly deadened this year. Also several teams added humidifiers that are somewhat contributing to the low offense this year. The flip side, pitchers are doing quite well this year so far.
And then we have Mike Trout - hitting .425 |
Gerrit Cole
Gerrit Cole has 62 strikeouts vs. 3 walks. He's great, but that's insane.Degrom has an ERA of 0.51 or something like that. It's seems pretty clear that something's up.

Oh Man, just read during the Red Sox pregame show, the Tigers "hit" .199 as a team for April. WOW

Tatis Jr.
Hit his 9th homer today - he already has 10 errors.
Could he become the first 50-50 player? . |
