thoughts on value of old Sox calendar?

It is from 1910 or so. Any idea what it would probably go for at auction?

That's great. What's the size? Blank back? How fragile is the paper?

It's not mine. I saw it for sale for $585, which seemed on the high side, but I don't have enough references to really know, which is why I was asking here. I was considering it for my collection, not looking to flip, but $585 is too steep so I was curious whether that's normal for this or the seller is asking for more than it is likely worth (marketwise). It is 10x14", and the paper looks somewhat fragile. Blank back. I'm guessing from the lack of responses that there aren't a lot of these that have sold so people don't know.

Hi-
It has been a little bit since I saw one of these for sale but in the past they would sell in hobby auctions for about 200 or so. It might be worth more now, but probably not much over 300. The above was my gut feel. I did a quick search and found one Goldin sold for 336.88 with BP so it might be a little better than I remember. Given the size and fragility of the paper, I am a bit surprised it doesn't sell for more. https://goldinauctions.com/1910_chic...-lot30832.aspx Alan |
Heritage had a couple a few years back though:
