Mays card with PSA cert

Not an expert, but the only way that could have been certified is for the certifier to have seen the card signed. In which case, they could have theoretically certified an "X" if that's what Mays signed. I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

This Mattingly always makes me scratch my head too. Not saying it's not authentic, but not saying much else either:

Man that's discouraging. I thought I was getting pretty savvy with picking out fake Mays signatures but now I feel I know nothing. I really don't want to add that slop into my mental rolodex for what is an authentic Mays...

....the same for that Don Mattingly.

I can understand where the Mays or Mattingly could possibly be authentic.

However I cannot understand how anyone could authenticate the signature.
