Why is there no E92 Dockman Cobb?
There is a crofts cocoa and candy, and 3 nadja backs known. Why no Dockman?

The Dockman set, at 40 cards, is the smallest of the E92 sets. A couple of the left off subjects (Bender striped hat, Miller fielding) were probably dropped because the player is included in the set with different artwork. As far as the other eight, including Cobb, who knows?
Here are the 10 subjects with artwork seen in all of the other E92 sets, but not seen in the E92 Dockman issue. The Nadja set also has 12 additional St. Louis cards (whose artwork is also seen in E90-1). They most definitely were added due to the fact Nadja was a St. Louis company. Thanks Brian...if I remember correctly some of those like Knight, Knabe, Miller fielding, etc. were considered more valuable than regular "commons" in the other E92 sets...Jerry

Brian and DJ, definitely very helpful. But I still don’t understand why they would exclude Cobb. I understand eliminating duplicates, but both Wagner poses are in the Dockman set. And Cobb (along with Wagner), was the star of baseball in 1909 why exclude the most popular player, especially if you are trying to promote your brand?
