A T205 run can be fun....especially the tougher runs....show us your T205's
I have been working on NY Yankees T205 runs. First started with the group of 32 subjects which I refer to as the A - B - C - D connection. This group
of T205's were printed with more T-brands than the other T205's in this set. And, I really enjoy this challenge. My experience doing these T205 runs has provided me an appreciation for the printing patterns of these cards. Some examples are...... The A - B - C - D cards and AMERICAN BEAUTY (Green) cards are mutually-exclusive. HINDU cards and DRUM cards are mutually-exclusive. PIEDMONT #42 and HASSAN #649 are mutually-exclusive. Thanks to Michael (gonzo), who brought this to our attention in a previous T205 thread. And, Andrew's (T205 GB) Master checklist has been an excellent reference in searching for the various backs for my T205 runs. So, I will start this show with my near-complete Miller Huggins and Harry Wolter runs. Fun thread idea. In October of last year T205's really started to gain my attention. Big Ed Walsh was my first.
After seeing just how beautiful these cards were in hand I was hooked so I decided to take the journey on a HOF subset run. Its been a fun ride so far. I had a nice mid grade, well centered set going. But there were too many other things I wanted and I can't have it all LOL....it was fun doing though. Just wanted to end up with one for now..
I like seeing T205 runs. One of the best looking sets of all time to me. . |
Haven't added a new Gibson card to the collection in quite a while, but that won't stop me from rolling out the same old Gibby's every now and again when I can.

I've been working on a Cycle run of the group of 14 T205 short-prints that come only with Cycle+Hassan 30+Piedmont 25 backs.
Down to only Karger needed for completion. |

Some great runs, guys. I will continue this "running game" with John Lobert. Actually I put this run together for my wife....she is the Phillies fan in our family.
Just as the Huggins, Quinn and Wolter cards, the John Lobert card is also in the group of the A - B - C - D connection. And, like Huggins, Lobert's DRUM back has not been confirmed. Furthermore, I've not seen Lobert with either of the HASSAN backs nor PIEDMONT #42. Here's a bit of trivia regarding John Lobert.
Like the bio on Lobert's card reads.... John was one of "the fastest men" in BB.....how fast was he ?
