1989 Upper Deck being graded
 

Looks like it's time to see if any of my '89 UD Randy Johnsons might get some PSA 10s. But I'm not used to the grading specifics of modern cards.

Is there anything I should looking for (like the condition of the UD foil diamond logo on the back of the '89s, I dunno) that would hurt the chances of getting a 9 or 10 that I wouldn't be familiar with?

Correct, scratches or part of the hologram missing normally affects the grade.
