Many, many Low grade T206 for sale incl HOFers
UPDATE 2/19/21 NOT FIELDING ANY MORE INQUIRIES AT THIS TIME. I MAY REGROUP AND FIGURE A BETTER WAY TO DO THIS DOWN THE ROAD. SEE NEW POST AT BOTTOM FOR MORE INFO.
I have been collecting all back versions of each card but have recently decided to sell off the extra backs. My have page is below. Example: I have three Abbatichio (brown sleeves), so two are available and you can see the backs if that makes a dif to you. LMK what you need and LMK what your minimum condition requirements are. Keep in mind these are going to be low grade ranging from very trashed to Good. Some present quite well but have writing. Replies by email are preferred. Also to speed things along, you might indicate an approx price you are willing to pay for the various grades: Very very poor Poor Fair Good TIA, Chuck http://klsdad.com/t206.html NOTE: Email link is on the left at the bottom. |

I'm going to have to update that original post..."sell off" was a very very poor choice of words. I just figured I didn't need 1162 (with 20 more arriving today) dif cards and it would be both fun and profitable to make a few sales given the market. I understand the market is good, right? At this point I've only been able to skim the emails. Sorry but PMs are at the bottom of the list. Here's my email if you want to convert your PM ... chuckparis@comcast.net PS You can move to the top of the list if you are willing to provide info on your buying range from very, very poor to Good+ PPS (or PSS?)...I hope I don't piss anyone off by starting this whole thing! Did I mention that I'm a tax accountant and this is the worst time of year for me to have started down this road. I guess my adrenaline was jacked up last night at 1am when I sent the post.
Did I mention that the PM system bugs the crap out of me? Are there advantages? I guess I should have made that clear and made my email easier to find. So I've gotten about 35 inquiries and have been able to give a general reply to ten of them. Some just to point out that the inquiry was about a card that I don't have two of. I think that I did point that out to those who had asked but if you don't here from me at all I apologize and that may ne why. Did I mention that pics via my phone are currently the only way I have of sending images? I may be able to get my wife to show me how to use her scanner this weekend. She's a tax accountant too though...argh. There have been alot of inquiries on rarer backs...ABs especially. One of the first things I'm going to do is see if I can part with any of them at all. If you asked about them I'll try to get back to you today. At least its been nice getting to know a few of you better. Again, hope you don't get perturbed if I've wasted your time. chuckparis@comcast.net |
mine may have ended up in your junk mail...

My website got shut down....apparently because of too much traffic. I use 000webhost.... is anyone familiar with that problem?
At lease its giving me a breather to catch up but I also have issues knowing what's in my collection as a result. I'll post again when its up. |
Please don’t take any offense, but since you have a ton of T206s and you’re busy w tax season -
Maybe next time just list 25-40 or so cards you are interested in selling. Process may work much smoother for you. |

I'm unfamiliar with 000webhost...but you should be able to log into the admin portal and access your HTML editor to see your collection, even if the site is down. With that said, you're the one doing us a favor by entertaining offers on your cards... So don't feel pressure on this end. Life happens. I'll just eagerly await your next post :) -Billy Koehler williammkoehler@gmail.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is sort of exciting! Waiting for an email, looking at this thread a few times a day. We are good, Chuck. It adds some drama to the BST!

OTOH... I think it was pretty clear that I only wanted to sell cards that I had a dup of and you would be surprised (maybe not) at all the requests for cards that I only have one of. Cobb - Red background for example. So there's that. On the bright side I did make one sale so far which pretty much makes it worth it... depending on what happens with my webhost. You were one of the first responders Brian, so I'll be sure to follow up. |

Thank you. Yes, my initial email was confusing and rambling. LOL Sorry. I thought I was looking at a catalog of 1,000+ available cards. I can tighten up my list once you toss out any cards for which you do not have duplicates. No hurry on my end - midweek is fine. Thanks ! |
Still hoping for a response.
Thanks. |
I think I have to send you a 3rd email.
I included Abbaticcio (blue) in the list and you only have one. I’ll send an adjusted email in short order. Thanks, Chuck

Email sent as well, take your time and thanks for entertaining us

Piling on

Looking forward to working out the deal Chuck! Happy Sunday!
Hopefully you can take a day away from tax work. RayB |
I replied back to your email. Will patiently wait for you to free up. Thanks.

Chuck - Thank you for working out a nice deal.
You were a pleasure to work with and a valued Board member and all around good guy in my book. Really looking forward to the cards! Be well, RayB |
Hi Chuck,
Did you get my reply to your email that I sent last week? Are you still selling some of your extras? |
Can I get a response?
|
Got it!
Chuck, thanks for working out the deal and sending the card. I have received it.
Thanks again! |
Always love seeing this thread bumped to the top...even if it's a 2 week old thread. Exciting stuff, nevertheless. Very nice back and forth last week. Looking forward to the cards...

I would have to agree. Sent an email 10+ days ago, no response. I understand you're busy, but why do some people get responses and others not?
|
I would agree--sent an email twelve days ago, and still no reply.

I have spoken with Chuck and he is genuinely overwhelmed with other (more important) things going on in life right now.
I was the second person that messaged him originally and I was very specific on the exact card I wanted and price in my initial message. That is why I even got a response. Even still, I just got my card a few days ago. He was trying to sort through the requests in order...so it is very possible that he is responding on a person-by-person basis...and probably can’t handle multiple sales at the moment. I don’t think he is picking-and-choosing, nor do I think he is holding out for a better sale. Having said that, he was a pleasure to work with and super kind and considerate. At the same time, he was extremely apologetic and genuinely feels bad about the situation. This is just a reminder that Chuck really doesn’t owe us anything. He simply shared his collection with us and mentioned that he is selling dupes. All we can worry about is reaching out to him with an inquiry about a sale...and patiently wait. If it is too much trouble to wait, simply pretend this thread never existed and move on :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Poor Chuck.
I would not want to be a CPA in February. Maybe lesson learned is to post 10-20 cards at a time on B/S/T ... not all 1,000+ T206s in one's possession :D |
Very fair post. It doesn't help with this feeding frenzy of a market right now.
