Cool vintage Red Sox items
 

First is a pair of Red Sox related papers. There is a beautifully illustrated 1968 Red Sox Newspaper section w Yaz on the cover. some edge damage and tears of course, but overall pretty nice with BEAUTIFUL photos inc. Color without.

also, a 1970 Full Boston Newspaper announcing the trade of Red Sox favorite Tony Conigliaro to the Angels. Tony had just finished a great comeback season after a near career ending beaning by Angels pitcher Jack Hamilton. Tony would come back home to Boston, but this deal was met with much anger in Beantown.

Second item, a pretty cool May 1948 Red Sox/Yankees press photo at Fenway showing the results of a big hit by the Sox. has a repaired (on back w tape) edge tear and some discoloration area, but is a neat photo as seen. Caption copy included. Teddy, Joe D and others in on the play
