FS: 1906 Hal Chase Type 1 photo. Early NY Highlanders!

Size is approx. 4" x 6".

PSA encapsulated. Press Photo Co. stamping on the reverse, along with art/crop marks and Police Gazette designation in pencil. Judging from the crop marks I'm fairly certain this was the exact copy of this photo used to make Chase's 1906 Police Gazette supplement---see the comp I made with overlaying crop marks on image front.

Absolutely, that is the photo used to create his Police Gazette supplement. Many photos from our files were the originals Police Gazette used for just that purpose.
