That '61 is a beautiful card. I've had a hard time finding a nice one at a reasonable price, even before today.

How many remember Craig Kindler's painting of Hank? It was one of my favorites of his.

Artists that can paint a person so realistic that I have to double check if it's actually a painting, amaze me. That's awesome!

It's not the most valuable Aaron card. Indeed, it isn't even the most valuable in my collection, but it is my favorite card. Not just my favorite Aaron card, but my favorite card overall. It is a card I had a kid and even now, 40+ years later, it still gives me a feeling of nostalgia.

When my time comes, it is the one card I'd like to be buried with.
