Can you post a much larger photo? Or maybe larger sections of it? I see that Ed Walsh pitched a few games for Milwaukee that year ...

This sold at a love of the game auction a few years back and you can find it here on this link and use their zoom feature (much better and easier than me trying to do anything)

Again Im not look for guess work on this, I am trying to find this image in print with the players IDed bc the guys I'm looking for are very very hard to find clear images of and may be in this photo (depending on when it was taken in the season)

Ed Walsh is not in this photo, but Johnny Mostil, Snake Henry, Doug McWeeny and Bruno Haas are (the ones I can easily ID) and of course Clarence Rowland as manager

Here is one of the Guide pages with this image and players numbered but they did not print who the players were...thus here we are

I revisited this recently and started to try o ID the players it the photo

It is very challenging for two reasons...some of the player on his team do not have good comp photos easily to find...and like all other team photos multiple guys look very similar.

If anyone has a labeled/IDed version of this photo please share...if anyone has any help IDing thoughts and opinions will be welcomed.

Im am 100% confident on almost all of these. Hardgrove and Smyth could be switched and Rees Williams and Emil Huhn look a lot alike too.

Mel Wolfgang left the team July 18th so this is before then.

Ed Walsh is not in it

George Runge is probably in it I just dont have good comps of him.

My 1st attempt:

Top Row L-R: George Anderson, ?, Jack Northrop, Rees Williams, ?, Doug McWeeny, ?, Mel Wolfgang, Bruno Haas, Red Smyth

Bottom Row L-R: Rolla Daringer, ?, ?, Pat Hardgrove, Clarence Rowland, Johnny Mostil, Fred Henry, ?, George Lees

Names of Players who could be in it:

George Runge (very likely in it), Emil Huhn, Bill Conroy (possibly top row 2nd from left), Clarence Pickup, Eddie Stumpf, Bob Trentman, Earl Howard, Tony Faeth, John Kotzelnick, Hi Jasper, Roy Hansen, Mal Berry, Kenzie Kirkham, Bob Bescher, Jack Enzmann (unlikely based on timeline), Jesse Petty (unlikely based on timeline)
