Does anyone have a line on this NYAL team photo? Any higher resolution image? When/where taken? Photographer/service?

Looks like Chicago to me. My guess is it's just a staff photog from that paper.

Bingo! August 24, 1903 published in the Chicago Inter Ocean newspaper. Ebay has some repro newspaper pieces and this turns out to be one of them. The photo includes Fred Holmes, who played 1 game for NYAL on Aug 23 against the White Sox.
