I read that the signature was Secretariat. That is all.

Now that would be something! A mantle rookie card signed by Big Red himself. The value would be completely off the charts!

1951 mantle

Just wondering. If sent in to PSA for grading, knowing signature is not authentic, would PSA grade this? If so, it would probably get the MK designation?

I'm guessing either graded as Authentic or at least MK as a designation. Nice looking card otherwise.

PSA won't grade just the card, they need to authenticate both. They won't slab it with only the card being authentic

That's a $20k+ card without the "signature". Beauty, Pete.

Wow. Awesome card. What a shame.

I can +1 it won't get into a holder. I had a card in the past in the same situation. They wouldn't holder because they don't want it mistaken as real even if the card is real.

Gorgeous card. How disappointing for the late 1950’s kid (now adult) that mailed it to the Yankee’s front office, and was so excited when his favorite player/hero signed the card and returned it to later discover that the Mick didn’t sign it. At least the kid probably enjoyed his perceived treasure for several decades before an authenticator broke his heart and financial dreams.
