Magic the Gathering question

I have a few Magic cards and among them I found this one card that appears to be different then any of the other.
To start it looks to be Japanese. So I am not sure if it was a promo or if it was from a set released in Japan.
Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

Its either Chinese or Japanese. I dont know the difference in kanji scripts- Many sets are released in both Chinese and Japanese, the game is very popular in Asia. I think this might be Chinese actually. In many cases, the Japanese cards hold a slight premium, while Chinese cards are usually slightly less valued. This card is a common and doesnt hold a lot of value in general, but if you have other Asian language cards, some are worth a fair amount!

The card is Transmutation from the Japanese Chronicles release of Magic: The Gathering. It's a somewhat common card to find, especially when compared to modern-day production numbers.

Thanks fellows for pointing me in the right direction. I guess I will not be planning my retirement around the value of this one card. Thanks again.
