T205 back stamp
I have a t205 frank chance with a back stamp that says W.N Beyer phila pa and wanted to see if anyone has any information on this person.

Looks like he had broad horizons! I believe I've got a couple more non sports he stamped as well...

Close, but no cigar,......W.N. Boyer played baseball for Penn State in 1866.

I just looked in some US census records and found two William N Beyers in Philadelphia.
The first one died in 1909, so it isn't him. The second one was born in 1910, and in the 1940 census, he was listed along with his brother Thomas, as an "antique dealer". Steve |
