Is the t206 Sweet Caporal 350 factory 25 list complete at 394
t206resource SC350/25 list which I believe is accurate has 399 possible
subjects. There are five subjects that have yet to be confirmed, of the five four are print group 1 150/350 subjects Criger, Donohue, Dooin, and Elberfeld NY portrait, and one is a print group 2 350 only subject Lundgren KC. http://www.t206resource.com/Sweet%20...Checklist.html All five subjects are also listed as possible but not confirmed on the Old Mill (BBS) checklist http://www.t206resource.com/Black%20...Checklist.html Out of all of the group 1 subjects the same four Criger, Donohue, Dooin and Elberfeld are the only ones not yet confirmed with and Old Mill back. Elberfeld Washington portrait is confirmed with an Old Mill back so it makes sense that he is not available with an Old Mill back in the NY portrait because it was probably changed to Washington before the group 1 subjects were printed with the Old Mill backs. Carl Lundgren never actually played with Kansas City and I believe he was probably removed from the set before the 350 only series were printed with the Old Mill backs. I think the group 1 subjects were probably printed with the SC350/25 and Old Mill subjects around the same time and for whatever reason Criger, Donohue, and Dooin weren't printed with either. For these reasons I think the SC350/25 list is complete at 394 subjects. |
My List is at 394 and also does not include those 5 cards. I've either seen or own all the others. I've been keeping track of this subset for nearly 10 years, so I'm pretty confident that the set stands at 394 cards.

Not sure if this helps but I have a unique card that was graded by PSA just recently.
1909-11 T206 CY SEYMOUR THROWING, SWEET CAPORAL 350, FACTORY 25 PSA 2 It is the only one graded by PSA with that front back combo on their pop report. He is on the list of possibles but just wanted you to know I have it. Peace, Mike Attachment 426639 Attachment 426640 |
Thanks for posting your Seymour mike. I haven't updated the list I keep
and I did have Seymour as 0 in the PSA pop report and 3 past sales of different examples. If you ever decide to sell or trade your Seymour I would be interested in it. |
Interesting. I have the 5 players listed split out into 3 separate groups (along with others) that make up the SC350 F25. Odd they are not grouped together.
Criger, Donahue & Dooin Elberfeld NY Lundgren KC Looking at my notes (been 6+ years) the reason Elberfeld is on his own is he is part of a group that was printed with Hindu backs, where Criger, Donahue & Dooin were not. Lundgren KC is split out as he was printed with CB & Tolstoi where the other four where not. I'll need to dig into this further. Maybe we could do a Zoom call Pat and go over some of my older lists. Fun stuff. |

Maybe I was misleading with my post, I consider them as three different groups the same as you have them. |
What does Ted Z. think?

Nice post Pat. I agree with you. I don't expect those 5 will ever be found with a sc350/25 back.

This might be the closest we will ever get to a 350/25 Dooin. It looks like somebody gave up and made their own at some point.
