I purchased this card two weeks ago and this scumbag is using the pics from the previous listing and attempting to sell it as his own.

So, you bought it for $12,500 from a guy with zero feedback, received it, and now somebody else is running a bogus listing using the same pictures?

Dan, you should message this guy and ask if he offers a local pick-up option.

Seems to happen a lot lately, especially with 86 jordan RC’s

I guess enough of us reported the fraud to eBay. Listing has been ended.

"So happy to have it received back at a PSA 6"

That didn't come back any time in recent history from PSA as they are now on their 2nd version of Hologram - This is "pre-hologram"

Correct. The eBay seller who listed it is claiming that he purchased the card yesterday morning and is being ripped off by someone selling it on Etsy. I was able to see the listing on Etsy last night but now its gone (it was listed for sale for $1500...talk about too good to be true). The seller is admitting to being overzealous in listing it without having the card in hand, but claims he is the victim and that he had no intention of defrauding someone. Here's the link to the ended Etsy listing

I would never think to look on Etsy for baseball cards.

Selling a card not in hand? Is that common? how can you sell something without checking it out? That is highly suspect.

People are way "braver" than I could ever be. No concerns about a bogus cards being slipped into an old slab? I wouldn't ever go near anything like this...but I'm happy it seems to have worked out for you.

Yeah, I had a lot of communication with the seller prior to making the deal and was able to get several pics and even video of him with the card so I knew he had it and felt comfortable making the deal. Also didn't pay $12,500 for it but that's another story.
