206 Red Cobb Portrait ( Sold )
 

Offered here is a very sharp looking Cobb portrait. Graded a 1.5 by SGC mainly due to what looks liked a hand pressed letter of some kind. Bright colors, solid registration, and decent corners make this a perfect example of "buy the card not the grade" in my opinion. Have 2 other 06`s with same mark most likely from an old time collector. Please see enclosed scans and ask any questions via PM/email or post. 1`st "I`ll take it" is new owner. Have you determined if that is an F Scott Fitz stamp? Or supposed F Scott.

I am not a stamp expert but it looks like one. Great looking card!

Hey Mike thanks for the response Sir. Not sure about the F Scott connection but it`s an interesting rumor for sure. Here`s 2 more 06`s I have with the exact same embossed stamp location and all. Pretty cool....

I love these boards! Thanks and big shoutout to Hugh for sending this beauty so quickly. He also included so much more (my camera not working great so I can't show) but suffice it to say that he sent a Ty Cobb book, an old Sports Americana, a 1915 newspaper with Joe Jackson story on front page, an original Campy snapshot, a cool old baseball postcard and on and on.....
