WTB - 1934 Goudey Lower Grade (including Gehrig)

I recently decided to start working on a lower grade 1934 Goudey set. I'm starting from scratch, so I'd potentially be interested in acquiring any lower grade cards. Just let me know.

Four H-o-F'ers

I have three ungraded, Manush, Vaughn, Hafey, and a PSA 2 Frisch
that can be seen on this thread:

Email djdoremus@msn.com if you're interested; thanks.

Bump. This set is coming along quicker than anticipated, so I'm interested in acquiring low grade Gehrigs (both #37 and #61), if anyone is selling. Hoping for a presentable copy of #37, but more flexible on #61. Also open to considering ungraded copies.

Thanks.

I am also working on this set and making good progress. My advice other than going after the Gehrig's is to also go after the HOFers which have shot up considerably in the last 6 months. Specifically the Greenberg is going insane on price.

Agreed. I've been lucky to acquire many of the key cards for reasonable prices so far, including a surprisingly good deal on the Greenberg. Still need Manush, Appling, Hafey, and Cuyler out of the HoFers, in addition to the two Gehrigs.

That's pretty good! Cuyler will be the toughest I think. I've seen a lot more nice low-grade Appling's than Cuyler.

I am struggling to find a decent Lombardi, which is the last one I need besides the Yellow Gehrig.
