Anyone know what this might be? On Heavy paper stock, might be cut from something. Would assume to be from 1938 based on the text. Appears real in all regards to print, stock and wear. Blank backed. Meaures 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Previously asked about here:

Could be this publication page rebacked?

Thanks, it's definitely not rebacked, and appears to be a different color than the book page, but invariably from the same source of some kind.

I have one also... asked about it here a couple of years ago... nobody really knew... thicker than a book page though...

Has the look and paper stock of an Exhibit card. So maybe an uncatalogued one?

It is an exact copy of the image in the 1938 Major League Facts, Figures and Rules but for some reason, the brown color reminds of the modern sepia type 11 x 14 inch photos of old ballplayers that were printed on a thicker matte paper that I used to see being sold by dealers at card shows....

Appears hand cut to my eye.

Not an Exhibit; doesn't match any known format from the company and the dimensions look wrong for its machines.

Definitely not Exhibit, lighter weight stock and wrong size.

I don't think it's a more modern issue of any type or one should be able to find lots of them for sale if they were a 1980'/90's reprint of sorts or certainly many collectors on this board would recall them.

Hi-

I actually posted about a Gehringer item that is very similar back in 2009 with no responses. I am 99% certain it is not from the 30s/40s. I believe they are a hobbyist produced item from the 70s. I have it in my mind that they were maybe produced for a specific show. I want to say I remember seeing them in a Trader Speaks or SCD from the late 70s but I am not positive.
