Happy 84th to Bill Mazeroski!

His bat may not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, but no other second baseman can compare to him statistically on defense.

I am to young to have seen Mazeroski play, but I will always have a soft spot for him because he was one of the players that wrote back to me when I sent him an autograph request as a kid. I do remember that he sent me an autographed card, even though I did not send him anything to sign. LOL
