That means it was inserted with Piedmont brand cigarettes - there are quite a few different back brands. Piedmont and Sweet Caporal are the two most common.

Ah okay. I'm just getting into Ts as this is the first I've ever owned. I guess it's not that great since it's just a common. But still kind of nice. Thanks for letting me know.

Hello. Thanks! The other markings that are relevant are the factory number (on bottom of back) as well as the series (upper left).
