Thanks to Love of The Game auction I managed to snag only the second signed 1900-1920 signed Cubs team photo I've ever seen (the other only had one autograph). Joe Tinker, Jack Pfiester and Johnny Kling. Too bad the owner didnt get the other 7 that could have signed this post 1946 but I cant complain :)

#172 just came back from the New England Picture Private Signing. Pedro Martinez:
https://www.collectorfocus.com/image...martinez-pedro Next acquisition will put within ten. Holy cow! |
I took advantage of the HAPPY25 eBay coupon code and added another signed 1960 Fleer card to my set.
https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--NsO6TJr2.../1960F_27A.jpg I've been working on signed sets for 1960 through 1963 Fleer sets. By my calculations, based on who was still alive when the sets were issued, it is theoretically possible to get 201 out of the 299 cards in those sets. This card also put me past the half way mark on that, being the 101st in my collection. |
Congrats on hitting the halfway mark, Jeff!

Amazing as always Michael. Hughie was a really interesting person. Eccentric but smart. Wouldn't be surprised if he had autism.
