1938 Game Used All Star Baseball - foul ball caught by fan with accompanied Ticket Stub and MEARS Auction Letter. Ball condition shows wear and probably use after the AS game. Handwritten remnants are present but unidentifiable.

Significant of the game includes the last AS game of Lou Gehrig's playing career, Bob Feller's 1st ASG selection, Johnny Vander Meer was Winning Pitcher and threw back to back no hitters in 1938. Joe DiMaggio, Mel Ott, Lefty Grove, Lefty Gomez, Charlie Gehringer, etc. all hall of famers played in this game.

Baseballs were used for many more at bats/innings in the old days so the likelihood that this ball was pitched, fielded, or hit by a hall of famer are pretty good.
