1917 Youth's Companion Marquard not Ruth

Has PSA been made aware (and changed) their current designation of this card to Rube Marquard? It is 100% Marquard.

I thought I remembered seeing a correctly labeled one somewhere.

EDIT: Currently Correct in their Pop report

That is good. Wonder if their Grading Guarantee was invoked by someone who bought way over Marquard market price because of the label? Did they recall all the cards currently out there and reslab them with a correct label, or did they just change their database/pop report?

The next guy that tries to sell his might be in for a rude awakening when a buyer tries to look it up on site.

Sold for more than 1500 and is now relisted by probstein. High bidder feedback 2745.

https://www.collectors.com/trading-c...n-stamps/93479

Previous ebay item number (before listing by probstein) with 3995 obo asking price: 233699300476

Ebay id Gidez32 (2745) listed it previously as a Ruth stamp so the Marquard ID hasn't yet spread.

Probstein should know better.

Believe I remember a fantastic thread proving the 1935 Muratti isn't Ruth either

So far at 4300.00 for the swimmer and a swimming coach!

It is the man in the middle in this photo. Ernst Brandsten. Competed for Sweden in diving at the 1912 Olympics. Diving coach at Stanford in the 1920's & 1930's. The graders are morons and the seller not worth speaking about.

Glad to assist. Olympic photography is my thing. I don't collect baseball, but I enjoy the reading. Collectors of old stuff have a similar mindset.
