What's going on with this card?

Seller states it came back with the altered designation from PSA and provides the label. However if you run the number in PSA's database nothing appears. Seems a little odd to say the least. Is this a case of a fake label being created? Is the card real? Thoughts?

Not sure why anyone would create a fake label for an Altered card. Regardless, the flip looks real. Problem with an A card that is not slabbed is you don't know if it's the same card. Everything looks real to me, but if you are looking for a card that PSA actually passed judgment on, you need to find one in a slab.

Centering says "real card"

..Fakes and counterfeits and reprints as a rule look really good to the eye ; the wear is added ';...you would need to magnify the surface and tilt into a strong light to view what the grader determined is either erased pencil or a touch-up on that fragile blue front...... ( oddly enough , pencil when not erased merely get a Q for "MK" ).....way too much $ for an "A" INMHO..
