It is AWESOME. And the new YAZ has that same great work ethic. He's paid his dues too.

My Orioles gave up on him too soon apparently.

He's going to make me eat my words. I thought he was a feel good story who might put together a couple adequate seasons, but considering how late he made the majors I didn't peg him for any significant impact.

It's actually startling how similar his minor league numbers were to his dad's. However his dad gave up at exactly the age the his son broke through.
