Uniforms of the American Association of Professional Baseball Clubs (1902-1962)
As a collector of Minneapolis Millers and St. Paul Saints uniforms I thought I would start a community thread for folks who would like to share their (AA) uniforms in their collection. 1911-13 Toledo Mud Hens |

Saw that one at auction. Nice one with a tough patch

Love It!
Although I have nothing to add, I love the theme and presentation of this thread! Simple, straightforward, and should be a good point of reference in the future. Keep it up!

I don't collect uniforms, but your posts reminded me of the appraisal done by appraiser Simeon Lipman of a Willie Mays uniform from 1951 when he was on the Millers. This uniform would fit right into your collection.

That Mays uniform used to be owned by a guy here in Minneapolis. I believe he bought it for less than $100 back in the day. He sued to talk to me about it when I would see him at shows. I believe he sold it direct to someone for cash (a lot) and then it auctioned once of twice since then.

David - that 1951 Golden Jubilee shoulder patch is a beauty. Maybe one day I'll own of these Millers uniforms with that patch :)
Jason - I would have enjoyed being in your shoes talking about that Mays uniform! |
