eBay Green Cobb, Don’t Get Burnt
1 Attachment(s)
If someone here is bidding on this Green Cobb, you will get burnt. The seller claims it is 110% authentic. It has fresh cuts, loaded with tea stain cracklings. It has 49 bids, there were more, guess a few smartened up. He also just posted a Bat Off Cobb with similar markings, a w514 Jackson the same way. The kicker here is they are mixed in between authentic cards. He just sold a w514 Ruth for $200, someone lost their money.

Cobb
The cards seem 110 % fake.
How's does this seller have 100 % positive feedback? John P |
Yes, it's obviously a fake but at least it doesn't have a Ty Cobb back and the seller is offering a 100% full refund (including shipping)....:p

Looks like the seller has ended the auction early. I wonder why.

I just lit into this guy with a private message about the Cobb (bat off) card he had on Ebay. It was clearly a reprint & it was doctored similar to the green Cobb card here . Calling these fraud-clowns, out is one way to clean up the hobby. He has since taken the card down & it's no longer available. He clearly had shilling going on to get the price up too. Good riddance!

I doubt this gets by anyone here. The crisp white edges and the tell tale staining in the manufactured creasing stand out at first glance without further inspection. Add eBay, raw and green Cobb to those and there's no question.
