OT - Topps Project 2020
Purists will scoff at this, and even though I probably won't ever own any, I think it's pretty cool. Any positive press the hobby can get is great. Some are already selling for hundreds. This could be an interesting experiment/segue into the next chapter of collecting. I know the Helmar folks are doing their thing...and some of those are going for a pretty penny, too.

Agree. It’s a cool idea and Topps did a
Really nice job with it. I want the Mays Card and prob Gooden too. Really nice. |
There is a nice conversation on this in the modern era section of this board.

I'm not into modern but i love it.
Art card reminds me of 52-54 topps, way better than just a picture the last jeter looks amazing |
I've enjoyed seeing the new take on the old cards. I've been actively collecting the Mike Trout cards, buying them when they go live on the website.
Some of the other ones are gorgeous, though! |
No coincidence the print run for trout was like 34,000 as opposed to 2000 for some of the other cards.
