There is a image in the current RMY auction of Ruth and Gehrig with Ruth's Bustin' Babes barnstormers from 1927. I don't know if the composition of the teams changed much over the course of the tour, but I have been of the impression that at least before they headed west, the players were in MLB, with a number of lesser '27 Yankees (Durst, Giard, Wera, Morhardt). Anybody know who signed on with Ruth and Gehrig.
