Recreating 1956 Topps Sheet
3 Attachment(s)
I ordered some 1956 Topps miscut cards from a large dealer and when I got them, my sons noticed that they were from the same sheet. We then ordered the other cards the dealer had that were from this sheet. Take a look and see how the miscut cards exactly complete the adjacent card.

I posted two uncut 56 sheets awhile back on my blog. Link is here, I've attached the sheet scans too (series 1 and 3 half sheets).

I don’t know what sheet they are from, but I have 2 cards that were miscut and from the same sheet. In addition, I know the card below Ashburn, which is Robin Roberts. So somewhere on a sheet going down it was Mantle, Ashburn, Roberts..

That's a great pair of cards!
I haven't seen an uncut sheet of the second series, but your Mantle has part of Campanella above it. My miscut of Fox shows that it is below Roberts, so that column on the sheet has Campanella, Mantle, Ashburn, Roberts and Fox adjacent to each other. |
Wow, that is great information. That is quite a column of great players.
Thank you. Please keep me posted on you effort to complete the sheets. |

Here's a card that shows how Ashburn connects. This one even has a smidgen of Mantle.

Thanks Eric, for some reason, I really like this type of thing. Thank you. If you want to get rid of it sometime, let me know.
