He used to do one signing a year at a restaurant near Giants spring training (Don and Charlie's was the name, I think?) and that was always a train wreck. He hasn't signed there in a couple of years, and now that place has closed down. If you're on SCN, there were a few members who tried to set up signings with him over the years, and his people would always find an excuse to make it fall through. There is a member over there who got him IP a couple of years ago, which is the most recent one I've seen, and his signature is a mess. He's almost completely blind at this point, and wasn't particularly careful even when he could see. I spent the better part of a year trying to find a signing to no avail, then I picked up a vintage signature of his for a fraction of what he had been charging at his last signings.
