2000 (approx) unsigned Grey Back cards of Mr. Mathews have been graded. Only 18 that have been signed. The highest had been a PSA 6.
Boom! 5 months later and Voila! Highest ever grade for this card slabbed by PSA/DNA. PSA 7, Auto grade an 8!

Peace, Mike

PS Gotta love those rough cuts! I do!

I hear they are making more "highest evers" by the minute nowadays. It's almost unbelievable. :)

Prob has to do with the bad press they have been getting. :)

What a group! The guy posts something and THE ONLY posts are crapping on PSA. Truly the intelligent collectors.

Yes kind of amazing a signed card can get a grade so high! I've had a few in my time just shock me.

I have a psa 7 signed 1952, not able to upload at the moment

Forgot I had this 8 as well. He is really tough to find in 8 unsigned!

was an 8

until someone wrote on it...

Lotta people sitting home now, talking about being the " highest ever" LOL

It amazes me that the highest ever PSA cards are awarded to 1 person that equals 25 percent! Wait, maybe Im getting that confused with 10s. Heck... Maybe its both!

Nice

Ted,

Beautiful Joe G! The fact that these cards survive elements for 60 years, get lugged somehere , player takes the cards, signs it, then it finds it was to CA for slabbing. Love 6s and higher signed cards. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Peace, Mike

One of Seton Hall's best ever......if not the best! :)

Fascinating life with a tragic quiet ending. It certainly is not the most valuable card I own but that is not why I collect.

That being said, it's one of my favorites! I LOVE this card! :)

Peace, Mike
